How do I place an order?
First, browse our galleries and choose a template you are interested in. Take note of the product code, and then click on the order button to place your order. Using the guidelines, describe as much as you can about what you would and would not like to see in your final product. Once you have submitted your form,
send an email with your photos. Please put your name in the subject line just as you entered it in the form. Once you submit the form and photos, I will use the information to create your personalized design, and email you a proof within three business days. You will be able to make as many changes as needed, and I will continue to send proofs after each revision until you are completely satisfied with your design. PLEASE BE SURE TO CAREFULLY CHECK FOR ANY SPELLING AND DATA ERRORS, as I cannot offer a refund for a design error once you have given final approval. After your approval, I will send you an invoice through Paypal for payment. Once payment is received, your card will go to print, or you will receive a high resolution final image via email if you have chosen the design only option.
Once your prints are complete, I will inspect them to ensure there are no flaws, such as bleeding or smudging of images, or improper image cropping. Then, the cards and included envelopes will be packaged and sent in the mail.
Can I use professional photos?
Yes, definitely! Professional photos are an absolute pleasure to work with, and produce some very wonderful cards! However, because they are copyrighted, you must have permission from the photographer to use them in any type of reproduction. If the photographer has provided you with digital negatives in order for you to obtain your own prints, then you should have no problem. If you do not have permission to have your photos printed, then you will have to contact your photographer and ask for a "Shared Copyright" or "Copyright Release" form. If you have any other questions regarding the use of professional photos, feel free to contact me, or your photographer.
Can I use photos I took myself?
Of course! Most of my cards are made with 'regular' home photos. I suggest having a small photo shoot at home, so that we can design a card around the theme and color scheme of your photos, but candid shots are always welcome, too! Photos should be as high a resolution as possible, otherwise they will not reproduce well in print. Photos should be at least 1000 pixels wide, and even larger is better! Scanned photos are accepted but must be as high a resolution as possible. If your photos cannot be used for any reason, I will notify you by email.
The photos I sent were large files, but I received an email that said they were to small to use, how is this possible?
In some cases , your email program may automatically resize your images when sending them. If this is the case, you may want to try sending each photo separately, or adjust your 'Attachment Settings' in your email program.
How long does it take to receive my cards after ordering them?
Once you have approved your proof, your photos will be completed printing within 3 business days. Barring any print errors, your package will go out in the mail within 24 hours of being printed, and you will usually receive your order in 3-5 business days when shipping within Canada, or within 12 business days for shipping to the United States. Please keep in mind that the Postal Service can sometimes get backed up, especially during the Holiday Season, so please leave ample time for shipping. Rush shipping, as well as rush orders, are available for an additional charge, but please consider the Design Only feature if you have strict time limits.
I have an idea for a card, but it's not like any of your templates, will you make it for me?
Of course! I welcome new design ideas and will work with you until you are happy. Just use the order form to describe what you have in mind as best as you can.
I really like a particular design, but I want to use it as a different type of card, is that possible?
Yes! The online templates are just examples of my work, and each order will be personalized just for you! Simply choose the template that best suits you, and use the order form to describe any and all changes that you would like. Just because it is listed as a birth announcement, doesn't mean it has to be, we can make it fit any occasion at all!
How do I pay for my order?
I accept payment by credit card or bank account through Paypal - the safe and easy way to pay!

What if I need to cancel my order?
I will accept cancellations as long as your order has not gone to print, or if you have not yet received your high resolution 'design only' image. Once you have approved your proof and sent payment, the sale becomes final.
I received my cards, and I am not happy with them, can I get a refund?
To ensure your satisfaction, each order is inspected for flaws such as bleeding, smudging, or improper cropping, before it is shipped. If something was missed, I will reprint your order at no cost to you, however I require the originals be shipped back for reinspection before reprinting will occur. I CANNOT PROVIDE A REFUND FOR A SPELLING ERROR OR OTHER DESIGN ISSUE, which is why it is very important to carefully look over your proof before approving it for print.
Please see our pricing page for information regarding shipping and prices.
